- Yes. Starka offers Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), under which its representative visits your site for inspection, repair or replacement, which is ideal for large projects, municipal bodies and industries. Starka also supplies genuine spare parts such as batteries, LED luminaires, drivers, controllers and poles, and provides technical support, product customisation, tender documentation and help connecting with third-party installation partners.
- Starka continues to support its products even after the warranty ends, and it does not charge any service fee for out-of-warranty products. You only pay for the components that are actually replaced, such as a battery, driver or controller. You can send the product to the Amravati factory for repair, or opt for an AMC so that Starka’s team can visit your site.
- If a product under warranty develops a fault, Starka repairs it, and if it cannot be repaired, Starka replaces it free of cost. If you do not have an AMC, the product is sent to Starka’s factory in Amravati, where it is repaired and sent back; the company pays one side of the transport and the customer pays the other side. - The standard warranty on Starka solar street lights is 2 years, and it can be extended up to 5 years on request, depending on the product and project. Solar panels carry a 25-year performance warranty, while products such as AC street lights, emergency solar flood lights and solar CCTV cameras come with a 2-year warranty. Exact warranty terms are mentioned in the quotation and invoice for each order.
- Installation is not included in the product price, and Starka does not carry out installation directly. If you do not have your own installation team, Starka can connect you with third-party installation partners by sharing their contact details, and you can finalise the location, scope and rate directly with them (terms and conditions apply). - After the order is confirmed, material is usually dispatched within 5–7 working days, depending on the order quantity and any customisation. Transport is in the customer’s scope: you can pick up the material from the factory, arrange your own vehicle, or Starka can book the material on a transporter you suggest, and for large quantities a private vehicle can be arranged in consultation with you. Depending on the product, Starka provides BIS certificates for lights, battery cells and solar panels, MNRE test reports, LM-79 luminaire and LM-80 LED test reports, IP65/IP66 ratings, IK08 impact ratings, ERDA reports and PWD-approved poles. - Yes, limitless customisation is one of Starka’s key strengths. Starka’s in-house team of experts can design lights exactly to your specifications, including wattage, battery capacity, solar panel size, backup hours, dimming programme, sensors, pole type and finish. Products can be engineered to match government tenders, NHAI specifications, Railway standards, RITES third-party inspection requirements, your target budget and your specific site conditions.
